My Routes Sample Route About Viewranger

My Routes

I heartily recommend Viewranger, and as such use it to publish walking routes. You can see and purchase all my walks by visiting my profile. Or you can browse those that the Viewranger staff have curated into the following collections:
Exmoor & Quantocks
Lake District and Yorkshire Dales
North Wales
Alternatively, you can find all my routes using this map.

Sample Route

This route is free to view on the website and to download onto your portable device (eg. smartphone). In the widget below it is probably best to view in OpenStreet or Satellite mode. As a Viewranger member you can also choose to see the route on a 1:25000 or 1:50000 Ordnance Survey map.

Viewranger works on computers, tablets and smart phones and provides OS mapping. It is available for Apple, Android and Amazon devices, as well as a web-based version for PCs and Macs. You can create or download overlays with photographs and pop-up descriptions of points of interest.
Please watch the video below to get some idea of what it can do. I did make the video a while ago, on a clunky phone. They have added plenty of features since then.
